Is it safe to eat cooked turkey that's been left out overnight?

In my latest blog post, I discussed the safety concerns of eating cooked turkey that's been left out overnight. Unfortunately, the verdict is clear: it's not safe. Bacteria can multiply quickly at room temperature and cause foodborne illness. The safe limit for leaving cooked meat out is two hours at room temperature. So, if you've accidentally left your holiday turkey out overnight, it's better to play it safe and toss it.
